INTRODUCTION TO BRANDON 152

My name is Brandon Daniel and I am a senior at the University of Tennessee Knoxville. I am majoring in Art Education and Fine Arts with a concentration in Drawing. I will hopefully finish and begin my internship next fall. I wish to use my degrees to teach art in middle school, high school, or even community college.

I try to stay involved working with kids at my church, helping with recreation and music in the middle school program called "CrossOver". I have taught elementary school children in Vacation Bible School and pre-school children in Sunday School as well. At our old church I was active in planning and helping with the highschool youth group in bible studies and outdoor activities.

At home I spend most of my leisure time drawing, painting, playing guitar or playing video games with my youngest brother. I have two younger brothers (19 and 7). I am engaged to my fiance, Salem, who I met at church. I work at Cedar Springs Christian Store where I am the head over the music department and manager on duty in the evenings. I may look like a 20-something but I have the heart of a child... I am currently working on a collaboration in my senior drawing class to organize an art show based completely on the world of Pokemon!
